Herby Pesto

HOMEMADE PESTO GF, DF and soo yummy and healthy for you! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

I love making a big batch of this at the beginning of the week as it helps to get extra minerals, nutrients and greens into every savoury meal. Oh and did I mention that it tastes delicious?! ๐Ÿ˜‹

What you will need:
- 2 very large handfuls of herbs. If you like the original basil pesto go for that but I also love to mix it up with parsley, coriander and chuck in some rosemary too!
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2/3 a cup of extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2tsp of salt to taster preference
-1/3 a cup of sunflower seeds (you can experiment here with other seeds too!

Place all your ingredients in a high speed, quality blender and whiz them together. Itโ€™s literally that easy!!

Serving suggestions
- I love mine on sourdough with eggs and spinach in the morning to replace avocado or ghee butter
- pesto pasta
- nourish bowls
- salad dressings
- to flavour meals like omelette, frittata, soups.
- marinating meats
