Matcha Energy Tonic Recipe
Matcha is a delicious concentrated form of green tea which has many amazing properties such as boosting energy, concentration, metabolism and more! Matcha is full of antioxidants and makes a great coffee alternative.
I love sipping on matcha especially when I am doing lots of study to boost my concentration. This is due to the unique phytochemistry of matcha. Matcha contains L-theanine which helps to improve memory and alertness it also helps to regulate the nervous system creating a sense of inner calm. Combining caffeine and L-theanine is a great combo for optimising energy levels!
-1/2tsp of ceremonial grade matcha
- 1 cup of almond or oat milk

- dash of cinnamon
Mix together into your milk frother! Alternatively you can combine all powders in the base of a mug with hot water and pour your warmed milk on top.
